Elder men cause crash

If the thumbnail deletion doesn't work, there has to be a corrupted clothing;have you tried removing your Downloads folder?

A similar thing happened to me in my early days of play, when I was young, innocent and without a clue; I spent months deleting pool ladders, diving boards and hottubes whenever an elder female was around, because if they change in swimming suit the game would crash. It turned out some of the original game files were corrupted, and a reinstall solved the issue. Playing TS2 in those conditions was a PITA.

Old men. Tight Pants. Coincidence?!

LynnMar:
thank you all so much.  I am getting ready to fix the language in my regestry.  Very good tutorial.

Would the corrupted clothes be an outfit of an elderly man or just anybodies clothes?   The elderly men are the only ones that cannot cycle through the clothes.  If taking out the download folder does not work,  I will have to reinstall.   No one has ever told me yet if they still had the original seasons hood after they installed BV or does everyone lose it?   I have the three original hoods again,  pleasantville, the alien hood and the victorian hood.  I will try it without the download folder and report back if this helped or not.   Thanks again everyone.    :) :)

I know my spelling is off today but I don't have a spellchecker.  sorry.

Yeah, he is fixed and I just had to remove one of his outfits and my clock is fixed now too.   You guys  ROCK !!    :-*

I have had this same exact issue. But I found the culprit (in case you ever run into this problem)

The file is around 6mb large. It's a hex code file that begins with the letter "e" and is about 32 letters long.

So keep a look out for those types of files.

That file name is automatically generated by the game's default installer. This is why you should use Clean installer. As it is "long hex code" doesn't really help.
