I actually live really close to Pike Place Market in Seattle, so a lot of fish tossing goes on around here.

This has got to be the best replacement item I have seen in the game so far.  Figures that it would be something that Pescado thought of.  Thank you so much Crammyboy for making it come to life.  Pillow fights will now have the sense of humor they have been lacking in the game until now!

Slapping people around with a fish is an IRC joke that's been around since IRC first started.  (or at least since mIRC has been around, because I'm pretty sure it had a built in alias for it)  But they were called Trouts instead of just plain fish.

There is a long-running tradition that the Unholy Trinity of Science Fiction societies (Oxford, Cambridge & Imperial College) have an annual fish fight. It's been going... 15 or 20 years? I was privileged to watch last year's. It was stupendously silly.

Hehe, it does, doesn't it?  Pescado kicked over the trash can first, and since my Sim was desperate (and I mean, desperate) for some social contact, I had him start talking to him.  They are good friends now, and *ahem* have had their first date as well.    (What can I say, I am shooting for a flaming bag of poo).

The new beard looks good on Pescado ($2 musical snowman adorability...$2 burnination fireworks animation...$1.75* Pescado beard...we're getting there).
