Can't run BV

When I try to run BV, I get an immediate error message stating "unable to enumerate any DirectX 9 compatible graphics device". Then the application terminates without me being able to get to the very first screen. This is even after a clean install, with no downloads or hacks, using a noCD crack.
I have been running TS2 up through and including Seasons with no problems. I have a supported graphics card that has been working fine. I downloaded the latest directX, I updated all drivers, I went to Start: dxdiag and made sure everything that was supposed to be enabled, is. I am totally puzzled as to what to do next.

Have you used the no-cd with success until this point? Or is this the first time using a no-cd with the game or just this ep? That error can also pop up if you have the no-cd in the wrong location.

This is the first time using a noCD crack, and just on this exp pack. The noCD .exe is in the TS bin of Bon Voyage in my program files.

It could be due to a number of things:
1) Bad crack - try getting another no-cd crack from Gamecopyworld (if your EP is patched, make sure you have the crack for the correct patched version).
2) Video drivers - your drivers may be corrupt, and may need reinstalling/replacing.
3) Bad shortcut - try loading directly from the no-cd crack without using a desktop shortcut (hey, it worked for me), and if that works, create a new shortcut.
4) Bad install - some members have reported that uninstalling the EP and reinstalling it solved the problem.
You can search on "enumerate directX" and find other threads where people report on this error.

Like jolrei said, make a new shortcut from the nocd. It might be pointing to the launcher instead.
