Why?

Recently, my toddlers in a neighborhood have been getting Lifetime Wants and romance sims have been wanting to marry of 6 kids. I realize my 'hood is now corrupted, but I don't know why this happened. I have not downloaded or used any occupied lots, and I have never deleted a sim from it. I have the director's cut, but no other CC. What am I doing wrong to cause this?

Is it a Maxis hood? If so, it may have been doomed from day 1.

Nope, it's a recently made custom hood.

Did you ever put an occupied lot in the bin and then place it back down? I ask because this is how I corrupted a brand new custom hood a while back.
Polly:
No, but I did notice the Maxis families that came with pets are still there, though no on knows them. Could they cause this?
