I've always had the same teens. I don't use cleaned up templates, and I think the only noregen hack I use is the vacation one to keep the tour guide under my thumb. I may be mistaken in that though.
With antiredun, you only get one cashier. If you only play lots with one cash register present, you will only have cashier. FOREVER. Until you send them to Uni or something and need a new one. Without anti-redun in your game will spawn 3 cashiers no matter how many are actually needed.

This is true - I have one comm lot that has several shops (grocery, clothing, souvenirs/kitsch/other crap) and 4-5 cash registers on the lot in total, which are always manned 12ed. My 'hood has at least 4-5 cashiers, which pop up here and there as needed.
