What is Abobe Flash Player?

I have long had problems with the EA site crashing the Firefox on my mac, and it seems like the problem is that I don't have Abobe Flash Player, as recommended here:

But I cannot find it anywhere. Goohoo does not enlighten me.

Oh, and don't try and fool me with this talk of Abobe being a typo for Adobe. thesims2.ea.com is a professional site. They would not have TYPOS.

Congratulations! You Have Missed the Point Entirely!

Anyway, Fibrefox is outdated and virusprone. You should use the latest version of Macrosoft's Itlernet Exploder. Also, when you get to the Abobe page, you should download the Stockwabe player, too. And make sure you have the newest version of Sud Microsystem's Jaja.
