Cheat Box Won't Open!?

anyone else have this problem before? and if so how can I fix it? I tried to open my cheat box as normal, CTRL Shift C, and it wouldn't open, even after several attempts. I went to buy mode and then back into live mode, etc.... still didn't work! it was working fine earlier today! ???

This is a known issue caused by spyware installed on your computer. Reformat.

First I suggest that you make sure that your "control" key is not stuck. Mine broke last week, not both at once but within days of each other. :-[

I recently bought the Sims2 Double Deluxe and when I start the game and press ctrl, shift, c to enter a cheat, nothing happens. No command prompt appears. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it still didn't work. So thinking it was the game, I returned it and got a new one and it still does not work!!! I am playing it on an HP laptop with Vista. I used to have the Sims 1 Complete Collection and the command prompt always worked. Why is it not working on this game and can I fix it?
