Decorative items crash game

I recently installed an ARRd version of Seasons, and ever since, clicking on the Miscellaneous tab in Decorative Items in Buy Mode (or the All tab in the same section) crashes the game. All content was working fine till installing Seasons, it appears to be an item installed with Seasons that is causing the problem.

I have SimPE but I have used it very little so far. I'm not comfortable with it yet, but I'm willing to learn. Is there a way I can use SimPE to look through the catalog and possibly find the borkified item?

Have you tried running the game with no CC/Hacks installed? Take out your downloads folder and try running the game again.

Nope, that didn't fix it. I took out every scrap of CC and if anything, it crashed faster.

Have you tried running in de-bug mode?
If you don't know how to do this, check the FAQ, and then attach an error log. Hopefully someone more awesome than me can come around and help you because those are the only two things I can think of at the moment.

The most common cause of crashing in Deco - Misc section is outdated CEP. (Garden Rock to be precise.) CEP can be very easily overlooked, as it isn't installed inside Downloads folder like regular CC. This bug only affects people who have Seasons but don't have BV. Make sure that your CEP is up to date.

For people who have AL, Targa's transparent hot tub water hack is known to cause a crash in big AL aquarium located in Deco - Misc section.
