THANKS THIS IS GREAT

I hope its okay to post here but:

This is a home I made, I almost wrote little, but that'd be wrong. It has 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a study, a large lounge area, large kitchen which is connected to the dining/family room, double garage, and it is 3 floors!

Better put it, here are some pictures.
(If you want me to make them links instead of posting them in full I can)

Front View:

Back Yard:

First Floor:

Entry Hall:

Kitchen:

Lounge Room

Second Floor:

Second Floor Landing:

Third Floor:

Third Floor Landing:

The lot is built on a 60x40 Plot size (6x4)
And it costs $294,219

it is partly furnished, mainly just the bathrooms, the built inrobes, and the kitchen being done, and some backyard parts, the rest of it is up to your imagination.

I have checked it with clean installer, and it contains only 2 custom objects (both from Maxis) which is the Cornucopia and the Egg Topary plant.
Although I did see some portals listed in there, I was a bit afraid of removing them (can someone confirm if this is safe or not?) in fear it might stop the normal cars and sims from coming in.

I have all expansion packs installed, and SPs, and a majority of the wall papers/textures I used were from those.

Please tell me what you think of it Smiley

Do not upload anywhere else, especially paysites, I will upload this elsewhere if I want.

Nice house! I love the backyard and the fireplace setup. It is a bit too big for me, but I'll snatch it anyway. ;P

How did you make the pool curved?

I find it particularly disingenuous of Seabolt to attempt to claim that "Advertising is very organic to the 'Sims 3' experience." Apparently 'organic' is code for "We thought of some places we can stick it." Should they run out of ideas, I could gladly recommend some nice, organic place

Wow, I love the stairwell! The huge chute and the little glass walls are modern, yet elegant. I definitely approve. Although, why are most of the rooms so big? I could probably fit an entire house into one of them! (Granted, Pescado would assassinate me for it, and it would be utterly unplayable.)

Although perhaps I'm being too prejudgmental. I shall try furnishing them and seeing what happens!

I could put three in the lounge room, and they would be totally playable. Single-sim or childless-couple homes, of course. There are definitely two types of home builders...those who like palatial homes, and those who like 'em tight & tiny.

Heheh, the good majority of mine are on 2x2 lots. I actually have several bachelor pads (especially uni residences) which have an Ingelogical hob on top of a SupaFridge, making for an entire cooking surface on a single tile.

I like my sim houses small too :p but here I was going for a LARGE family luxuary home

My sims have 12 children (I have that little mod that lets you go beyond the usual family size)

so there are several kids in one room, lots of play toys in the lounge, pool tables etc.

They are party sims (rich).

But I tend to play the smaller more cosy looking family homes too, just this one was something I was trying to acheive for the terms of "look at me I live in a big house!"
