BV and AL fireplace, another EAxian mistake....

Emma:
Hey! Don't use your kitty cuteness as defence! Not fair.

FrickinIdjit:
Another available option is to get rid of the chimney entirely.  With moveobjects on, use the sledgehammer tool to delete each section.  As a bonus, this frees up the 2 tiles behind the fireplace, allowing you to place other objects (like staircases) directly against the back of it without cheats.  If you like the look of a chimney rising above the roof, just don't sledgehammer that bit.

You'll also be able to use a diagonal 2-tile fireplace if you angle it before hammering the chimney.  If you move the fireplace, however, be aware that the chimney will return.  I recommend using the hammer after it's in its permanent position.

This is excellent advice! I hate the chimneys, they spoil the look of the houses. Cheers! ;D

Fantastic idea!  Glad I thought of it.  ;)

maxon:
That's great especially in those houses/apartments where you want a fireplace but don't want to have to build around whacking great chimneys in the upstairs rooms.  I am, indeed, glad I thought of that.
