Apartment Doors and doors in general staying open!!

I don't know about you guys but I really hate this and it's been hapenning for too long and I don't mind doors not closing after a sim comes running through them or skipping or whatever if the doors are inside the house but like even that shouldn't be acceptable,what I can't stand is the main doors staying open...FOREVER!! Now most doors you can delete and replace but apartment doors,not so much!! Is there something we can do about doors that won't close back!!?

Move the ceiling light so that there is more than one square between the light and the door. Or move the ceiling light to the side so that it's not in line with the door.

I know this is about doors being stuck OPEN (which has happened to me, btw) but I thought this would be an appropriate place to ask this question regarding the apartment doors. Does anyone else have a problem with copying apartment doors on a diagonal and having them turn into the dorm door from uni?
Btw, thanx for the doorjamfix. It worked for me. Not a single door stuck on a lot since I installed it.

Yea, doorjamfix works nice for the lights, but I've just discovered that if there's something else by the doors (i.e., the ductwork from AL), then the doors stay permanently open as well.
