Arrred games?

Yet another dumb newb question... what does it mean by "legally backed up" in the FAQ? As in truly is legal for us to be using this or...? :P Just want to know what I'm getting myself into

It is, technically, illegal to pirate a game .iso you have not paid for. However, EA sucks rocks.
