revisiting an old request

ok, the attraction thing for romance sims...
it's been requested a couple of times, but now that we have the two most awesome modders here, I figure that it might be worthwhile bringing it up again
I still think it is backwards and that it should be the romance sims who do the swooning thing, not all the others over the romance sims! I would quite happily settle for the whole thing being killed altogether, especially with the way nightlife has changed things in regards to attraction - I believe it's possible to have a sim swooning over another simply because they are romance, but to have negative chemistry with that sim at the same time!

Yep, yep, yep! I had a sim swooning over a Romance sim then told her to use the flirt>check-out option. She was duly repulsed by the Romance sim but then I turn my back on her and she's swooning again. I'd love to see this nipped.

I agree whole-heartedly. The Romance sim swoon needs to be nuked now that we have the attraction system. I'm starting to seriously play my very first romance sim, and it gets a little confusing.. Like: "Is she swooning because she thinks Julia is hot, or because Julia is a romance sim?"... Of course you can tell by the thought bubble, but I don't always catch it! Usually I hear swooning off camera, and by the time I react, pause, and go looking, the bubble is gone already. I will give many beans to the modder who does this.
And no, 'beans' was not a typo... Beans are much better than Benes you see.

And it's really upsetting one of my sims! My Ripp Grunt is gay, and he's living in a house with Ophelia Nigmos and Johnny Smith. Whenever Ophelia goes near him, she swoons. He gets SO upset! I keep meaning to take a photo of his horrified face.
I know some people are clueless about these things, but she is best friends with him as well as his housemate. Silly girl.

I agree. With the advent of the chemistry system that stupid swooning has lost what little use it ever had if indeed it ever had any use.
I would like it nixed.
