Toddlers getting stuck in cribs

I have a problem with toddlers (and maybe babies, too, I forget) getting stuck in cribs. I think the side of the crib gets stuck in the up position and then when the adult sim goes to hold the child the action just drops out of her queue. The only way to fix it is to move the toddler out manually and delete the crib. I've had this problem for a while but lately it's been really annoying. I thought I saw some posts about this a while back but my search turned up nothing. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Is it happening on all lots, or just one lot?
Have you tried debug mode to see if an error is occurring?
Are these Maxis cribs, or custom cribs?
Did you try replacing the crib with a new one?

All lots. I haven't tried debug mode. I will next time I'm in game. Maxis cribs (that's all I use). And I replace the crib with a new one each time, otherwise I can't put the toddler in the crib.

Also, check your Downloads for hacks or mods that might be affecting the cribs, and are perhaps not updated for the latest EP you have.

Yeah, I've done that. I can go in game and see if I can catch the error in debug mode. It doesn't always happen, so it's tricky. I thought this was a known bug which is why I posted here first :p
