Reverse compatibility for BHAVs
« on: 2008 May 26, 08:07:33 »
THANKS THIS IS GREAT

How can I change format of BHAV from 0x8009 to 0x8007 to make it compatible with pre-NL games?
I can select Format 0x8007 in drop-down box, is it all? And if it is, is it safe to change every BHAV from 0x8009 to 0x8007 in the same way? For BHAVs found only in post-NL EPs, I left the format untouched because I was not entirely sure if it's safe to change.

E.g. I want to add some BHAVs like "CT - Allow With Food" or "CT - View - Enthusiasm in T0" in base game compatible decorative objects. It's not like they will be called by pre-NL games anyway. Can I safely leave the format as 0x8009? If I do change, is it all to select 0x8007 in drop down box?

It's designed to/supposed to work just like that.  If you have problems as a result of the conversion let me or Peter know.
