Actually, I was thinking it might be funny to have one of those god awful macromedia/flash type dealies. Something that takes a while to load, and then have some kind of splash/flash animation, along the lines of this "Awesome" 50/60's hip, mod style keeping in theme with the "most awesome" images that are already used.
You know, something similar to those PSA's that the Simpsons and MS3TK make fun of. Maybe like black and white images of 50's type couples, a la Pleasantville, sitting all ho-hum in the dolldrums or such. And then skipping along merrily into a kaleidoscope of swirling colors in a fantasy land of mad-cup fun that is just "MORE AWESOME THAN YOU!!!" And you could have a booming voice in the background that says exactly that. Additionally accompanied by one of those fast-talking speedy announcements for informercials, with a Subscription fee for 39.99 a month, act fast and subscribe now for a limited time and get 10$ off! And then have some ridiculous disclaimer like: Subscription not available to U.S. Customers. Internet offer valid only in Guam, the Falkan islands, and specific areas of Antarctica. And this could be like in super tiny fine print.
If I were talented or actually knew how to do these things, I'd give it a try, but meh. I just think it would be pretty funny though. Now that would make a great 'joke' page. ;D
