I have both the latest patch and the fix and they seem to have absolutely no effect on fixing aspirations in my game.  :(

Interesting... I have p3 and I just had a Romance/Knowledge sim get married: engagement memory is green, marriage memory is red.

I would LOVE to see more aspirations, and World Domination Aspiration?  Heck yes!  Wants and fears would work around getting money and servants, minions, a secret lair?  It would be amazing!

A driving badge would be hilarious.  You'd have to practice regularly, or you are more likely to crash until you hit high end badge status.
And you would have to pay higher insurance (yes, insurance) for no badge vs. bronze, silver would knock off more, and gold would be the cheapest.

Hm, I saw a mod that affected toddler skills vs real life.
1) If a toddler didn't learn the potty skill, the child is likely to wet the bed.  Lovely idea, that one.

But what about the others?  I would like to see more consequences of my lazy parenting...

2) If a toddler doesn't learn to talk, then as children they would have to take twice as long to build charisma skills, makes friends with great difficulty, and/or take longer to do homework/more likely to lose grade points regardless of completing homework.

3) If a toddler doesn't learn to walk, then as children they'd deal with slower body-skilling, awkwardness (side note: do sims even have a tripping animation?), never upping the hidden dance skill, having a fear of stairs, and similar problems.

Menaceman:
Wasn't the Sims 2 originally advertised as being made in a way that if a toddler didn't learn to walk, talk or be potty trained that it actually would affect them later on? I seem to remember that being a feature I was looking forward to.

I have tried the bed wetting mod of which you speak but I removed it because untrained Sims were wetting the bed to often.

Eleonora:
Kekeke, somebody else necromanced so now I can add my own wish.

When there's heavy snow on the ground, the 'walls down' view will leave the walls slightly higher than normal, so as not to disappear behind the snow. My wish is for this height to be permanent. A little thing really.

I also wish Will Wright would axe-murder the current EAxis employees, but that's a pipe dream.

Ness:
The permanent extra wall height would bug the crap out of me!

The one thing I'm really wishing for at the moment is for butlers to be more useful...  I mean serving lunch meat sandwiches, TV dinners and cereal - come on!
