Aha! One of my sims mysteriously satisfied the want to meet someone new. I knew that there had been no strangers on the lot, but she was autonomously mopping up a puddle. Her memories showed that she had met the NPC-penguin by mopping up its pee puddle! :D While much hilarity ensued, I did wonder if she'd have to meet with her unfortunate demise soon for spreading dangerous gossip. Thanks, she's spared for now. ;D
