Castaway Concoction Junction - potion problem

Is there some special circumstance to allow sims to use the romance potion? The only option I get is to pick it up.

Thraxus:
You need to have the potion in your inventory and click on another Sim to use the potion. It modifies the relationship between the potion holder and the targeted Sim. It wasn't immediately obvious how they worked to me either.

Oh thanks. I tried that with the penguin potion and it didn't work. So I assumed the next potion would work the same as the first.  ::) Cheers.

Are you using this in Castaway game, or the one by Pes imported to Sims2?

Pescado's in sims 2.
