stupid uni dorks

I'm hoping someone can point me towards a chunk of awesomeness that will help stop the stupid Uni dorks from lame-ing up my playables' parties by deciding it's the perfect occasion to plunge their Fun meters by doing college assignments - or worse, engaging in some forever-to-yank-them-out-of Group Research.
The mod here - http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=111790 - was last updated in April of '06. It purports to disallow assignments for non-residents in Uni residences, but since it's a bit dated, I'll probably be testing BV/FT for a while before I give it a try. And it doesn't appear to do anything about the Group Research. And it's not awesomeTM. For now, I'll keep trying to remember to block the bookcases before throwing a party, but any other suggestions would be very welcome.

Syberspunk's mods are awesomeTM as he has his own section here, and the mod you linked to is posted here at MATY as well as at MTS2. You could try asking in the thread here if he could extend the hack to include no group research at parties.
According to Syberspunk's FT Compatibility thread, this hack scanned as clean for FT and did not require an update.

Search-fu (n.): derived from kung-fu. "Fu" refers to skill, therefore 'search-fu' would = search skills. (synonyms: google-fu)
Phail (adj.): bastardization of 'fail'.
