the carpool not showing is in my other lot, not the one uploaded. i changed downloaded 1x1 community lot  into residential, only putting a mailbox but the car pool doesn't show up. i guess missing carpool is because i need to download the portal? i'll try that one, thank you for all of you who helped me out, i really appreciate it *hugs*

I bolded your problem -- 1x1 lots are not 'natural' to the game, and have been known to have serious borkedness, especially as residential lots -- the game just doesn't know how to handle the lot when the carpool is supposed to come, as the space between the portals is too small.  And if both the carpool and the schoolbus try to come at the same time, the game really freaks.  Toss in a nanny car, and it's total meltdown time.  :P

Turn it back into a comm lot, and it may be somewhat useable.  But trying to use a 1x1 residential lot is asking for trouble.

Zazazu:
1x1 residentials are fine, as long as they are checked by the builder before sharing to make sure the portals are where they should be. I use them constantly. The only issue I have is one you always have on lots with only 10 grid squares on the sidewalk - carpool and bus cannot be there at the same time. Get butts in seats ASAP, and everyone gets where they're going on time. Service vehicle and emergency vehicle cannot be there at the same time. Street parking is a no-no.

Changing a commercial 1x1 to a residential 1x1 without using Inge's buyable portals and portal revealing flamingo is an epic no-no. You are going to have problems. Get those (at MTS2). Changing a residential 1x1 to a community 1x1 rarely causes any issues whatsoever (I do that regularly as I only have the blank small-sized lots in the residential flavors) but checking the portals is always a good idea on any shrunken lots.

On a community lot you need:
2 car portals (sidewalk side of the center line)
2 pedestrian portals (guess where those go)

On a residential lot you need:
2 car portals (sidewalk side of the center line)
2 pedestrian portals
2 service portals (non-sidewalk side of the center line)
