4. Now type in the following:
hackdiff -i ftdiff.txt -l hacks.txt > report.txt
I followed the instruction and unzipped the hackdiff.exe and ftdiff.txt. (It doesn't matter where I put them.) The hack list is generated fine. But I can't get the hackdiff to work. The command prompt returned this error message after "hackdiff -i ftdiff.txt -l hacks.txt > report.txt":
'hackdiff' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
The report.txt still gets generated, but it is always empty. What did I do wrong?
ETA: Crap, I misread your question, sorry. Make sure hackdiff.exe is in the same folder where you open the command window and that hacks.txt is also in that same folder. Otherwise the system won't be able to find the .exe and will return an error.

This is .rar with two .bat files:
1.Put in hack directory> hackdiff.exe,ftdiff.txt,1.bat and 2.bat.
2.DoubleClick 1.bat-it will generate hacks.txt (listing of your hacks in current dir.)
3.DoubleClick 2.bat-it will generate report.txt

Don't laugh at me, but I don't know how to open the command window in a specific folder. No matter which window I have on the top, when I open the command window through start->accessories ->command prompt (?), it scans every single package file in my user accound (millions probably), even if I only put 2 files in the downloads folder. I had to remove everything to another user account.
Alexx, thank you very much!!! I'll put them to use tonight.

That'll work too, you'll just have two batch files instead of one. I suppose I could also use it to check just one package, but I don't remember my dos paremteres much anymore. ???
