Thank you for that link! Shortly after getting the base game on Day One, I replicated my own house, with my own family. The third generation is living there now, but I haven't played them in ages because I was having the exact problems described by Misty and others...only, in the kitchen. I renovated the kitchen, tore it to the ground even, and the problems kept up. The worst one was Sims getting into bed from the kitchen ~ they lie down in mid-air, then blink into the bedroom and sleep properly. ::) Or maybe the worst is having Sims reach through their butts to pick up plates...
NOW, finally, a way to fix it!
I've used the Debugger on other lots, but never knew it could banish stuck gosts. (I'll bet it's the ghost of my own Sim-self that's causing all the problems, too. ;D)
