Every piece of trash that comes into my office has a male or female baby named Jaydn/Jayden or Jordan. Or Jayden Jordan. It's a travesty. An entire generation of Jayden Jordans.

I always thought Jordan was a pretty straightforward boy's name. The idea of giving it to a girl just makes me insane, although not nearly as much as the practice of turning vaguely masculine-sounding last names into female first names. Seriously. It makes me want to smack people.

Also, none of my real or my online handles showed up on any of the lists, despite noy being "spelled funny." Yay!

I'm just mad that "Ella" went suddenly from being a super-obscure name belonging to my great-grandmother to number 19 on the list of most popular baby names. Stupid babies!
