Well the actual statement makes sense inasmuch as I can understand what she's saying (for once). However I still find the posture unreasonable because she does not have to make herself responsible for ensuring no one gets confused. She can let her users explain it to each other - those who post a link can answer any questions they might be asked about it how they see best. For instance if Dizzy2 posts a link to MATY on his forums, then it is *supposed* to be up to him to support questions about it, not her. She explains quite clearly that apart from some site-wide obscenity rules (which don't have to be obeyed by the admins or mods) anything else is entirely up to the owners of the different sections.
Also I smell a rat in the timing. Pescado's had that joke and whatever link-posting policy he's got for months. Funny the reaction is just happening at VS now.
