Let's say you stuffed a fridge full of fresh produce. Then you buy another fridge and delete the old one. Is the fresh food gone, or did it get transferred to the new fridge?

The Fresh Food point is stored per fridge base. You cannot use point from another fridge in the house. If you buy a new fridge and sell the old one, you'll lose all points.

Leftovers are, however, stored in the lot itself. You can take out leftovers from another fridge in the house. You can even save leftovers in the community lot that isn't owned by anyone. I built a "second-home" type community lot with beds and a kitchen. I sent a sim, have her cook a meal and put leftovers in the fridge, and sent her home. When I sent another sim to the same comm lot, he could take out the leftover.

Alright, I removed the one food I had (Tomato soup by HP) and still, no leftovers. >_>

I have Individual Aging by Monique, Stay Things Shrub by Inge, and a vampire skintone hack, along with the standard BV Director's Cut. Oh! And I have KittenKiller and Insim.. and a few of the Director's Cut remodels by Jase for Inteen compat.

I have all the exp up to BV and am using a Maxis fridge. Sim puts away leftovers, go to get them out again... and there's nothing there. The "Get Leftovers" dialog comes up, and, but the box is empty and all I can do in cancel out.
Using Director's Cut... any suggestions?

Was the food in bowls? I've had problems with cereals and with mac'n cheese so far - I was able to get the food (i.e. it did show up in the dialog), but as soon as the fridge was closed again, it vanished.

ganyblack:
I had some hamburgers... and, uh... Salad? Oh! And cereal.
They're going to move out, so I'll see how that works. Maybe with a new home it'll reset my leftovers.

Lerf:
I've had that problem before--usually right after installing an EP or a Stuff pack.   I can usually fix it by using the "force error" command with boolprop.
