Forgot to mention - I don't use marriage traditional. I prefer to decide which name gets kept so I don't end up with household names being different to the surname of the sim that lives there.
I did come across a hack once to give the choice... but I think I lost it before I ever got to try it. :(

I don't have BV (yet), so I'm running the Seasons DC as well as zombie apoc, hat stands, and the rest of the "nonDC"ware.

I use the Seasons Directors Cut, soon the be replaced by the BV DC, EXCEPT for the following:
marriage-traditional (I use Marhis's last name chooser instead)

fasterbuyclothes (I use Monique's hack that also includes faster seating at restaurants)

nolamehires (I find it too limiting in new neighbourhoods with few townies, or playables for that matter)
nosmartmilkdrag (I use TJ's version that handles the process a bit differently)
nouniprotect (I don't allow dormies in my game)
noundeaddormies (see above reason)
swindlerslist (I don't mind my playables being friends with their customers)
synctimer (I'm anal, but I'm not THAT anal)
tippingfix (conflicts with my must-have noautonomousinstruments hack)
I only use zombieapoc in my sci-fi 'hood. Otherwise, it's in the holding tank.
ETA: I also use the Stories objects.
